About the Role

If you are a Part Qualified or Qualified CPA/EPA with a good degree in an Engineering discipline or study/experience in Physics, Electonics, Software, Telecoms, we would be very interested in hearing from you.

Qualified Patent Attorney – Associate/Senior Associate

Our client needs someone who is ready to take on and manage a significant case load. With a portfolio of work to inherit and grow, this position is ideal for someone looking for progression and the option to build and manage a team.

Consisting predominantly of direct European client work, including patent drafting, prosecution and opposition work along with top level strategic client advice, there will be minimal agency prosecution work.

Whilst joining the team responsible for a major client working on wind turbines,  there will also be variety to keep you interested, in aerospace, automotive and medical devices, as well as registered designs for household names. Clients range from multi-national companies to start ups. Experience of aerodynamics would be great, however structural engineering, high performance/composite materials and/or control systems experience would also be really interesting.

Part-Qualified Patent Attorney – Trainee/Junior Associate

Our client has a unique opportunity for a part-qualified attorney to join our expanding team working on a full service portfolio of patent work including prosecution, drafting, filing, opposition and advisory work.

This will suit an ambitious attorney who would join at a time of significant growth. Working predominantly with two major multi-national companies across the spectrum of work, there is the possibility of an in-house secondment, as well as face to face client interaction (on a weekly basis)!
