About The Role

This role is placed in their Global Outsourcing team which is a dynamic and fast-growing environment providing international accounting services and is split into two sections; Service Charge and International Accounting where the role specifically lies. The team has experienced significant growth in recent years and this position offers a real opportunity for the right candidate to join a successful and expanding division with proven career opportunities and a clear career path. They now require a Project Administrator to join their existing Project Management team, providing a key supporting role to ensure client deliverables are met.

The Project Administrator will be working alongside BDO technical and Project Management team. You will gain an understanding and experience with assisting international clients to manage their accounting, payroll, banking and compliance functions and will be required to quickly develop your knowledge of clients and processes, whilst continuously providing exceptional client service.

This role would suit a candidate who is looking for their first role in a professional services firm, with good organisational and communication skills, attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Data entry – set up of vendors/suppliers on the clients accounting system.

  • Timely filing and archiving of completed documents and tasks

  • General administrative tasks (e.g. booking team meetings, setting up WebEx’s and conference calls)

  • Inbox and email management, ensuring that items are actioned on a timely basis.

  • Provide client admin support and interact with clients as necessary in a professional and timely manner

Requirements

  • A- level or equivalent qualifications

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel

  • Good time management and organisational skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to identify and solve issues

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • A team player

Desirable, but not essential, skills include:

  • Experience of Microsoft SharePoint

  • Foreign languages useful but not essential
